Hargeisa (Hornpost) The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Somaliland, Professor Ismail Duale Yusuf, yesterday held an awareness meeting in the city of Hargeisa for some students from Somaliland who are preparing for the examination of 4th and 8th grades of this year for the Certificate Examination of Somaliland.
The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Somaliland, Professor Ismail Duale Yusuf, advised the students who attended the meeting and the students in general to go to the Certificate Examination for grades 8 and 4 to avoid cheating and trust their knowledge, telling the students that cheating is not good for their future, and if it is done, it will waste the efforts they have been making over the years.
Among the officials who attended the forum was the Minister of Education and Science of the republic of Somaliland Prof. Ismail Duale Yusuf, Director General of the Ministry Abdirahman Hussein Haji Hirsi, Chairman of the National Examinations Office, Daoud Ahmed Farah, Deputy Chairman of Marodi-Jeesh Wali Abdi, and other officials from the Ministry of Education.
The Minister of Education, who is talking about cheating with the students, said that what you are going to do is a small test and you are looking at what you have taught, your knowledge is only looked at and it is not a very big thing.
The Minister of Education and Science of Somaliland, Pro Ismail Duale Yusuf, added that he urged the students who will sit for the Certificate Examination which will soon start in Somaliland to have confidence in the examination and avoid anything that they may lose in the examination.
The Minister of Education stressed that they are planning and issuing a law to control the provision of test data which will be imposed on anyone who is involved or caught while engaged in the delivery of the test who wants to pass the test illegally to the students who are taking the exam.
“There will be rules and regulations issued by the ministry which states that the teacher, the student and the director of cheating will be dealt with in the”, said the minister of the Ministry of Education.
On the other hand, the Chairman of the National Examinations Office, Daoud Ahmed Farah, who also spoke there, urged the students who are taking the exam this year to never forget the advice of Allah, which is the most important thing that every Muslim is required not to be absent from his heart for the student to be confident in himself and avoid anything that he may lose in the exam, which can cause a challenge in the efforts of the years he has been leading the one who always works for the parents.
Chairman Daoud Ahmed Farah, who is admonishing the students, said”. I advise you on three points, namely, to trust God and to be obedient to yourselves and to always be obedient parents, always be kind to the parents.
In conclusion, officials, leaders, academics and parents who spoke at the forum shared their wishes and prayers with all the students, urging them to avoid cheating, and also reminded the students that what they are taking the exam is only what they have posted.
