Hargeisa (Hornpost) The Ministry of Trade and Tourism has organized an important meeting to discuss how to find a lasting solution to the rise in the price of electricity and fuel, with a particular focus on finding cheap fuel for use by energy service providers.
The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism, also discussed the serious impact of the price of fuel on the political and security changes in the world, especially the renewed wars in the Middle East, which directly affected oil markets around the world.

Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Minister of Mines and Energy, Minister of Investment and Industrial Development, Somaliland Energy Commission, Manager of Berbera Oil Storage Tanks
The important points analyzed in the meeting included:
Finding a solution to the rise in electricity prices across the country, with the aim of promoting the use of clean energy and reducing the costs that companies pay for fuel.
Preventing and addressing rising fuel prices, due to the effects of international changes, especially the wars in the Middle East, which have caused fuel prices to rise rapidly.
This meeting is part of the Somaliland government’s efforts to control the inflation in energy services, and to promote access to affordable, quality energy services that are in line with the needs of the community.
