Hargeisa (Hornpost) The meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Somaliland today chaired by the President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) accompanied by the Vice President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, and was held today at the Somaliland Presidential Palace.
The agenda discussed at the 22nd Session of the Cabinet meeting included:
- Report on Security and Stability of the Country: Reported by the Minister of Interior and Security, Mr. Abdallah Mohamed Arab.
- Report on Financial Affairs, Revenue and Economy of the country: Reported by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Mr. Abdillahi Hassan Adan.
- Report on Livestock Export and changes in the way Livestock goes through exports and how to improve it: Reported by the Minister of Animal Husbandry and Rural Development, Mr. Dr. Omar Shuayb Mohamed
- DALJIR Program Report prepared by the Ministry of Constitution and Council Relations: Information was given by the Minister of the Ministry of Constitution and National Assembly Relations, Mr. Ahmed Aw Dahir Haji Hassan.
- Preventing and reducing traffic accidents for school students: Reported by the Ministers of Education, Education and Science and the Minister of Transport and Road Development, Mr. Professor Ismail Duale Yusuf, and Mr. Osman Ibrahim Noor (Af-Gaab).
- The report on the situation in El-Afweyn and the peace efforts and the delegation from the government that participated in the joy of Eid al-Adha: The Minister of Religion and Endowments, Mr. Sheikh Abdullahi-Bashe Dahir Jama, informed about it.
- Establishing the policy of the Ministries and harmonizing the general plan of the Republic of Somaliland: Information was given by the Minister of the Ministry of Planning and National Development, Mrs. Kaltun Sh. Hassan Abdi.
- Distribution of the Draft Law on Energy and the Law on Diplomatic Missions of the Republic of Somaliland (Somaliland Diplomatic Missions Act): Reported by the Attorney General of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdisamad Omar Maal.
