Los Angeles (Hornpost) President Donald Trump’s administration says it is sending 2,000 National Guard (National Guard) troops to Los Angeles to deal with the violence caused by the operation targeting undocumented immigrants.

Border Patrol agent Tom Homan told Fox News on Saturday: “We’re making Los Angeles a safe place.”

A California city has faced a second day of violence after residents of a predominantly Latino neighborhood clashed with representatives of the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Tears and sticks were used to disperse the protesters in the Paramount neighborhood.

As many as 118 people were arrested in Los Angeles this week during ICE operations, with 44 of them arrested on Friday.
