Mogadishu, (Hornpost) the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held a consultation meeting with the leadership of the political organizations that registered for the election, which are playing an important role in the process of democratization of the country.

In this meeting, which focused on the implementation of the election of people and votes, the President reported on the great efforts that have been made in the past 20 years so that the Somali people have the opportunity to directly elect a leader who reflects their wishes.

The president noted that the government is committed to completing the electoral process based on one person and one vote, stressing that national consultations and consultations with political stakeholders are among the important pillars of ensuring a process transparent election.

For their part, the leadership of the political organizations that met with the President praised the efforts and the government’s decision to complete the democratic system, suggesting that the government should increase public awareness of the direct electoral system.

On the other hand, the meeting was absent from the politicians who held various positions in the Somali government such as former prime ministers, former presidents, chairmen of parliament and other officials which includes former Prime Minister of President Farmajo’s government Hassan Ali Khayre and former Prime Minister Mohamed Hussies Roble, as well as former Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed.

The President of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, seems to be continuing the process of the democratic process of the local councils, which is currently being registered in Mogadishu.

The President met today with the leaders of the political organizations that allow the process of the President and his Government.
