Former Arsenal player Nwankwo Kanu Arrived Somaliland

Hargeisa (Hornpost) International player Nwankwo Kanu, who is a former striker of the Nigerian national team, who played for Arsenal, Inter Milan, Ajax and West Bromwich Albion, was welcomed today in the capital Somaliland in Hargeisa.

Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Somaliland Yusuf Nuh Yusuf (Tadhase), Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Somaliland Mohamed Abdirahman accompanied by Ministers, Directors General, Mayor Abdikarim Ahmed Moge, Governor of Marodi-jeh Region today from Egal Airport International Airport.

The Nigerian player Nwankwo Kanu spoke to the media at the airport and said that he is happy to participate in the commemoration of Somaliland’s national day on May 18, which will be celebrated throughout the country tomorrow.

Nwankwo Kanu previously met with the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Irro, when he was a presidential candidate, and at that time he asked him if he wins, he will come to Somaliland.
