The President of Somaliland said that they are investigating what happened in Burao, and they are taking action against those who were involved in the “incitement made in the community”, he said in the media and spoke directly to the Somaliland community
He also said that he sent a large delegation of his government to Burao, and they agreed with the committee that was in the resolution of the violence that happened that the decisions they issued should be implemented.
”I am talking to you that I am a father who is saddened by the death and loss that happened to the nation, I am a citizen who sympathizes with what happened and the pain that happened in Burao yesterday. We have lost two members of the people of Somaliland who should not have left us, but no one will stop the death of their watch. What happened in Burao” said the president of Somaliland.
Abdirahman Irro said that his government will conduct an investigation, and those who are found to be involved in inciting the people of Burao will be brought to justice. raised with false news that does not exist from that we learn to be careful from now on to avoid lies and unsecured news and what happened in Burao will not come back to us again’ he said.
