Hargeisa (Hornpost.net / .com) Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi inaugurated the 3-month evaluation meeting of the better-live project supported by the British Government, especially the FCDO Office in Hargeisa and from Togdheer, Daadmadheedh, Awdal and Salal regions.
The meeting was attended by departmental directors, officials from the Ministry of Health Development, heads of UNICEF, Save the Children and Mercy USA as well as the deputy head of the British Royal Office in Hargeisa.
In this meeting, the things that have been implemented and the challenges of this project in the past 3 months were analyzed and it was agreed to further improve the health services in the centers supported by this project.
Minister of Health Development Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi thanked the UK government for its support to Somaliland in this project to improve the country’s health and the Minister also thanked the participants of this conference for the time and effort they put into improving the country’s health services and also promised to always be ready cooperation between agencies, agencies and other health stakeholders.
