Somali President and Turkish President discuss Somalia’s war with AS

Ankara (Hornpost.com) The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, His Excellency Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, held an important meeting with his counterpart from our brotherly country, Turkey, His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.

The Social Media pages of the Somali Presidential Palace in Villa Somalia published the content of the meeting between the two Presidents, and it was stated in the statement they issued.

“The two Presidents discussed strengthening bilateral relations between Somalia and Turkey, which are based on brotherhood and strategic cooperation that are important to both countries, and agreed to further advance the implementation of agreements and joint cooperation between the two governments.

President Hassan and President Erdogan discussed in depth the operations and fight against Khawarij terrorism, which is a threat to regional stability and development, praising the fruitful cooperation between the two countries in rebuilding the Somali National Army and weakening terrorism.
