Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) Hamas said it fired three rockets at Tel Aviv – and it is the first time the group has carried out such a missile attack since Israel resumed its military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

Israel said it intercepted one of the rockets, and the others fell into uninhabited territory.

At least 591 people – including more than 200 children – have been killed since Israel resumed fighting on Tuesday, according to the Hamas-controlled health ministry.

The Israel Defense Forces, abbreviated as IDF, said on Thursday that they launched a ground operation in Palestinian territory.

There has been a delay in extensive military activity since January, when a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas began

Israel says Hamas still has 59 hostages, 24 of whom are believed to be dead.

On the other hand, Yemen’s Houthi group fired a ballistic missile at Israel on Thursday, targeting the Ben Gurion airport near Tel Aviv, according to the military spokesman of the Iranian-backed group.
