Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The Somaliland Health Emergency Response Committee held its first meeting and the meeting was chaired by the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama held the first emergency medical meeting in his office today.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Ministries of the Presidency of Somaliland Md Munir Ahmed Igal, the Director General of Defense, the medical leadership of the armed forces of Somaliland, doctors and advisers.

During this meeting, the preliminary national plan to deal with emergency medical conditions such as patient injuries and the like was discussed together.
The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama welcomed the Officials underlining that it is important for such meetings to discuss the emergency situation in Health so that they can be answered quickly when emergency situations occur.
