Boost for Tourism & Economy: Somaliland President Launches State-of-the-Art 5-Star Hotel; the First of Its Kind in Somalis cities in the Horn of Africa

Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), today officially inaugurated a newly constructed, state-of-the-art hotel in the capital city, Hargeisa. This hotel, which is entirely new in design and standard across the Somali territories, has been built to meet the highest international quality benchmarks for global hotels. It is rated as a 5-star establishment.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Serene SARAVOR PREMIER Hotel, speeches were delivered by the hotel’s owner, the General Manager of SARAVOR PREMIER International, the Mayor of Hargeisa, and the Minister of Investment and Industry of Somaliland. They emphasized the immense value this hotel brings to the nation both in terms of reputation and economic opportunity.

In his keynote speech, President Cirro stated that this investment is a clear symbol of progress, economic growth, and the confidence investors have in Somaliland’s peace, stability, and political leadership. He further highlighted the crucial role that modern hotels play in boosting tourism, hosting international conferences, and improving the quality of social services.

The President warmly congratulated and expressed gratitude to the hotel’s investor, Mr. Abdikarim Mohamed Iid, urging other entrepreneurs to follow his example by investing in projects that contribute to the development, job creation, and beautification of Somaliland.

The construction of this modern hotel spanned nine years. It consists of 134 fully furnished luxury rooms and offers a wide range of world-class services. In addition, the SARAVOR PREMIER Hotel has been built with an elegant, contemporary design, significantly enriching the modern skyline of Hargeisa.
