President of republic of Somaliland Visits the General Headquarters of the Police Force

Hargeisa – (Hornpost) – The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), today paid an official working visit to the General Headquarters of the Somaliland Police Force. The visit is part of the President’s broader efforts to strengthen collaboration with national security agencies and encourage the performance of key government institutions.

During the visit, the President held a private briefing with the Commander of the Police Force, Major General Abdirahman Abdillahi Hassan (Abdi-dheere), who provided a detailed report on the work accomplished by the police under the current administration.

The Commander elaborated on the achievements in crime prevention, public safety, capacity-building within the force, and operational improvements. He emphasized the commitment of the police to maintain peace, enforce the law, and protect citizens.

President Cirro expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of the Somaliland Police Force, recognizing their vital role in safeguarding national stability and social order. He also reaffirmed his government’s continued support to security institutions to ensure a safe and progressive Somaliland.

“The Police Force is the backbone of national security. I deeply commend the professionalism and dedication they continue to demonstrate,” the President stated.

This visit comes at a time when the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Cirro), today inaugurated a workshop and training session organized for the newly appointed leaders of the country’s independent government institutions at General Headquarters of the Somaliland Police Force.
