The Minister of Interior and Security, Hon. Abdalle Mohamed Arab, today chaired a high-level security meeting aimed at strengthening and expediting the security framework of the capital city, Hargeisa.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including:

The Governor of Maroodi-Jeex Region
The Deputy Mayor of Hargeisa
The Secretary of Hargeisa Local Government
The Chief of Police forces of Republic of SomalilandThe Second Deputy Police Commander
Commanders of the Eastern and Western Police Divisions of Hargeisa
Members of the Capital Security Committees
The agenda focused on practical strategies to boost the overall security of Hargeisa. Discussions included strengthening neighborhood and district-level security committees and enhancing coordination across different law enforcement and local government bodies.
