The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Irro, told the international community that the people of Somaliland are commemorating the results of the struggle for 34 years and the previous ones “34 years later we have come together to tell the world again that this nation is based on the blood of the successive fighters for the independence of Somaliland”
