Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi (Irro) together with the Ministers of the Presidency, the Minister of Agriculture, and the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, the Speaker and the Secretary of the President had an important meeting with an international company at the Presidential Palace today

“African Food security” from the United States, operating in several countries in Africa

The delegation was led by the General Manager (CEO) of the Company Mr. Allan Kessler along with Edward Meijering, Rage Adan, and Mohamed Diriye is all operators of the African Food Security Company.

First of all, the President of the Republic of Somaliland thanked the officials of African Food Security for their visit, and told them that his government gives special priority to the development of agricultural production, the promotion of drought-resistant crops and climate change, the modernization of technology, planting, training farmers and improving their skills.

Also, the President told the officials of African Food Security that Somaliland welcomes anyone who comes with an investment that benefits the people and the country, especially in terms of production and agricultural production.

On their part, the CEO Mr. Allan Kessler and other members of the African Food Security Company thanked the President of the Republic of Somaliland for the reception and reception. They confirmed that as a company they are very happy to invest in a country like Somaliland. They said that they have the economic and intellectual power to implement significant changes in Somaliland in terms of modernizing the farming system, agricultural production and livestock fodder, and this will prevent the Republic of Somaliland from making the country self-producing enough food.

African Food Security said that considering the strategic location of Somaliland, it will be able to export agricultural crops to Saudi Arabia and the Arab Gulf (GCC) in the future

Finally, the President of the Republic of Somaliland told the delegation from the African Food Security Company that any agreement between the two parties is the responsibility of the Minister of the Ministry of Agricultural Development of the Republic of Somaliland.
