The President announced that development projects will be implemented in El Afweyn, which will lay the foundation for peace.
Hargeisa (Hornpost) The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro) said that two major projects will be implemented in El Afweyn district, in order to establish security, and he underlined that the first project will be implemented by the vice president, while the second project will be implemented by him, which is the Technical Institute, at the same time, the plan is to produce techniques that appear in the technical market of Somaliland.
President Abdirahman also said that they will strengthen the army and the security agencies so that with the help of the community they can eliminate anyone who has illegal weapons.
The president also said that Somaliland has only hope, only will and only future, and he prayed to God to strengthen security.
President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro, praised the vice president and his delegation for the success they brought to the peace of El Afweyn district, and added that the first plan of the Unity government and action was to end the long-standing conflict in El Afweyn, added that he instructed the delegation not to come until peace is closed.
The President of Somaliland, speaking directly to the media, started his speech with “My joy of peace in El-Afweyn is not only because I as president, I feel the constitutional duty of seeking to strengthen the security of my people. I am a citizen who is happy with the peace and brotherhood that has ended the bloodshed. For many years, there has been a lot of bloodshed in El Afweyn area; I would like to share with you the understanding, the deviations and the relatives of the elderly and the community leaders in El Afweyn area. The Prophet may mercy and peace is upon him, declared that peace and reconciliation is better than the prayer we pray, fasting and charity. The peace of El Afweyn was the first priority of my government’s unity and action, and that is why with a lot of work and drafts on each side, we started the first day of the efforts for peace in El Afweyn and the nationalization of the civil forces.”
“Due to the weight of the task, I have delegated to the vice president, Ambassador Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, who is leading important officials consisting of government officials and traditional leaders, and our promise was not to return until those two tasks are completed, today thanks to GOD, those activities have successfully ended that El Afweyn’s people realized the life expectancy of their land, to rebuild trust and brotherhood, and to cooperate in the development of their communities, brothers and sisters, let’s not allow what happened yesterday to set what we are today and how our future will bring, tribes are the main reason for oppression, backwardness and division of society, history has not been seen in a nation whose people are divided, tribe, regionalism or other similar views that have been successful.”
President Irro said that the community of Celafweyn district in Sanaag region has overcome the insecurity and he said “You have overcome one of the biggest obstacles that could be used as an excuse for the delay to increase government services, and economic infrastructure in El Afweyn.”
The president of Somaliland, who was speaking directly to the public in the media, promised the community of Elafweyn that his government will implement development projects
“The Unity and action government is announcing two development projects, which will be implemented in El Afweyn district, in order to bury the problem peacefully, the first project will be announced by the vice president of the second project. handicrafts and training in El Afweyn, my goal is to be a platform for techniques to emerge in the technical market of Somaliland, and we will also put pressure on everything that can weigh us down, by strengthening the various forces and security agencies, so that with the help of the community they can eliminate anyone illegal weapons in the Town.”
The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Abdirahman Irro, continued his speech and thanked the cultural elders and intellectuals of Somaliland for participating in the peace of Elafweyn District and said “our peace building process is our own, and there is no foreign interference, it is a system that we have built in our nation and the world admires us and it is a culture that we must protect and benefit to the world, the peace that has been working for a long time between the chiefs and the traditional leaders, and i am grateful to their dedication to made peace in El Afweyn”
