Erigavo (Hornpost) – Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama, went on a business trip to Erigavo, the capital of Sanaag region. The purpose of the trip was general supervision and development of health services in the region.
While he was in Erigavo, Dr. Ahmed made an official inspection at Erigavo General Hospital, where he delivered modern medical equipment and important machinery that the hospital was in great need of. This new equipment will improve the quality of health services provided to the community in the region.
Also, the Director General held a meeting with the hospital management, listening to a report and observing the different parts of the hospital. After that, he officially cut the cord on the new vaccination reserve in Sanaag region, which is modernly built and equipped in accordance with modern health standards.
Finally, Dr. Ahmed A. Mohamud Jama laid the foundation stone for a project to renovate the front of Eerigabo General Hospital, as part of the Ministry’s efforts to improve health services throughout the country.
This working trip shows the commitment of the Ministry of Health Development to provide quality health services to all regions and districts of Somaliland.
