Hargeisa (Hornpost.com) The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama today opened the Training of Trainers for Combined Vaccination against Pneumonia, Measles and Diarrhea.
The three-day training, jointly organized by the Ministry of Health Development of Somaliland and the World Health Organization (WHO), was attended by directors of various departments of the Ministry, regional health coordinators, vaccination workers, and organizations working with the Ministry in the field of vaccination, such as GAVI, WHO and UNICEF.
The training, which aims to train vaccination workers to retrain health workers, will greatly contribute to vaccination services across Somaliland.
The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama officially opened the training, noted that this training is important and necessary, urging the participants to take advantage of the training period and return to their regions and districts throughout Somaliland.
