The Federal Republic of Somalia welcomes with great relief the prophecy of the Sudanese armed forces regaining control of the Republican Palace in the heart of the capital Khartoum after two years of armed conflict, marking a significant step in preserving Sudan’s sovereignty and strengthening its march towards peace and security.
When the Federal Republic of Somalia follows up with the great sacrifices made by the brotherly Sudanese people and their armed forces, it renews at this historic moment its firm position in supporting the sovereignty of Sudan and the unity of its territories, and its support to its legitimate institutions in its efforts to consolidate security, stability and achieve national unity.
In these blessed nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, we pray to God Almighty to blind all parts of Sudan with safety and security and to multiply the efforts of his brotherly people with more progress and prosperity.
